On the morning of October 19, Zhu Lisong, General Manager of Ningbo songmile Packaging Co., Ltd. (2005 alumnus of Tourism Management), Xu Lei, President of Ningbo 1+1 Chamber of Commerce, Yu Zhongyang, Secretary General, and Guan Yifei, Human Resources Manager of songmile, went to the first conference hall of the conference center of Huajin Campus of Anhui Normal University to attend the signing ceremony of the “songmile Scholarship”. Zeng Liming, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Anhui Normal University, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Jiang Ning, Deputy Secretary General of the School Education Foundation, and Su Jun, Secretary, Jia Guanzhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Geography and Tourism, Fang Fengman, Dean, and all members of the party and government leadership team, as well as Yin Shoubing, Director of the Tourism Management Department, and Zhang Wei, Deputy Director, attended the signing ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Fu Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Geography and Tourism.
Dean Zeng expressed his sincere welcome to the visit of General Manager Zhu and his delegation, and highly appreciated General Manager Zhu’s noble act of setting up scholarships in the school. He briefly introduced the basic situation of the school and the development trend of the School of Geography and Tourism, and pointed out that student scholarships are a very important livelihood project and a heartwarming project, which is of great significance to motivating students to study hard, implement the fundamental task of moral education, and promote educational equity. Social donations are an important part of the student aid system and play an irreplaceable role in aiding education. It is hoped that the School of Geography and Tourism will take the signing ceremony as an opportunity to do a good job in donation management, strengthen publicity and education, strengthen ideological guidance, further summarize experience, improve mechanisms, continuously strengthen student aid and social donations, and promote high-quality development of aid education.
Secretary-General Jiang expressed sincere gratitude to General Manager Zhu on behalf of the school’s education foundation and showed high respect for our company’s charitable act of donating to support education. He stressed that the school will strictly supervise the use of funds, give full play to the funding and educational effect of the “songmile Scholarship”, and help students’ growth, success and development. He also extended a cooperation invitation to further deepen school-enterprise cooperation and talent training.
Mr. Yu introduced the basic situation of Ningbo 1+1 Chamber of Commerce and its historical origins and special bond with Anhui Normal University. He expressed his gratitude to Anhui Normal University for building a platform for communication and cooperation. He hoped that the two sides would further deepen the school-enterprise cooperation in talent training, student employment internships and other aspects, educate and guide students to strengthen their ideals and beliefs, correctly understand the society, and grow and develop better.
President Zhu fondly recalled the good times of studying at the Normal University, and said that as an alumnus of the Normal University, any achievements he has made are inseparable from the education and training of his alma mater. The establishment of the “songmile Scholarship” is a manifestation of gratitude to his alma mater, and it is also a true expression of social responsibility and care for younger students. He hopes that the students who receive the aid will actively participate in public welfare and give back to the society when they are able to in the future. Starting this year, our company plans to donate RMB 200,000 per year as the “songmile Scholarship” to subsidize and reward students from poor families and excellent academic performance in the School of Geography and Tourism, and to support the construction and development of the tourism management major. The first phase of the agreement is tentatively set at five years.
President Zhu and Secretary-General Jiang signed the donation acceptance agreement as representatives of both parties.
